Always good food. Good bar, sports channels.

Excellent food, service was not up to the usual standard. Waiter appeared distracted. Forgot a drink, was not attentive like the usual service we receive there.

If basing I’m the review solely on food this place is 5 stars. Every time I come here I say I’m going to get something different but I end up eating the fajitas quesadilla or any of the quesadillas frankly.The service on the other hand is very spotty. One day we get perfect service. The next two times we can’t find our server and have to grab someone handing out the salsa and chips to help even get the check. The service doesn’t matter if they are busy or not. Definitely try to avoid going during soccer playoffs. All staff will be staring at the televisions...even the cooks.

We stopped in for a late lunch after a day at the beach. We had a shellfish allergy to work around and found them very accommodating. The salsa was more like an enchilada sauce to me, therefore only 4 stars.

Food and service were good, but had to use flimsy plasticware. Plasticware is fine, but using the flimsy stuff to cut a steak burrito is rather difficult.

Moved to Southport a few months ago and tried San Felipe for the first time the other day. The food was delicious and arrived quickly, and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely be a returning customer, highly recommend!

San Felipe continues to be one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the area.

Was voted Brunswick County Best. First time, and last. No taste, rather bland.

I enjoy this one on the old Long Beach road. Service is good and the food is good. Table salsa was great.

Food is on point and so was the service. Chips and salsa are solid. For a family Mexican style restaurant it was very much enjoyed. I had the Texas fajitas (chicken, steak, and shrimp) for two and the portions was plentiful. The flour tortillas were good. The blue ocean margarita was refreshing and not overt juicy, you could taste the tequila. Go here with family, friends, or both.

Awesome Mexican food! More than I could eat and it was the lunch special. You must try San Felipe if you are in the mood for authentic Mexican food.

l went there to celebrate my Birthday and the staff had the nerve to make fun of me an call me fat. I was embarrassed an l will never eat there again. l gave a star just post how l felt but this place is not a restaurant l would recommend to anyone

First time dine-in experience and was totally pleased. ACP Texano, chicken ACP, and ChoriPollo were amazing. They bring the queso in a separate container and it allows the food to remain light and fresh.The salsa was not chunky and has a good flavor. The service was top notch and the restaurant was very clean. I highly recommend San Felipe if you are in, or near the Oak Island or Southport area.

Really enjoyed eating here. They were super busy when we went, which we thought was a good sign and meant we made a good choice. The waiter was friendly and the food came fairly quick for how busy they were. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to eat because everything looked so good. I ended up choosing the California burrito. I was not disappointed. So delicious. I plan on going back before my vacation ends.

Have known this restaurant since Siler City and have eaten at nearly all of their stores. Now two in Southport and one in Leland. All good and a real family business. Started with Father and brother, and their sons working. The son's have families. This Latino family has done very well. Food is good, inexpensive, plentiful and staff are friendly and hard working. Prices are reasonable esp. for lunch menu. Many groups are easily accommodated here!

Started with some pleasantly spicy salsa and chips and then had enchiladas rancheros with refried beans. The enchiladas were made in a tasty and different way with steak strips on top of the enchiladas with mole sauce. My partner had arroz con cameron (shrimp and rice) and she said it was subtly spicy and enjoyable. Reasonable prices, great service. This was one of the Southport locations, the one next to Peebles. Delicious food, check it out!

Food service was good & wait staff friendly. Menu pretty standard. Foid came quickly; okay, nothing excsptioal. We had chicken soup, shrimp quesadilla, & chicken taco salad. It was a chilly evening & the restaurant was quite drafty. Managenent did nothing to take care of the several complaints received.

Restaurant has been part of the local eating establishments that has been around for several years and appears to have prospered. Big influx of Hispanic labor pool during lunchtime, while the evening seems to be more"suburban". Good service, served quickly and reasonably priced.

My son was looking forward to Taco Tuesday but as we got there he got sick before they even place our order With the kitchen staff. I went up to the host stand spoke with Juan .... I asked him to cancel our order before they started cooking it and please let me pay for cheese dip, chips, salsa & our drinks !! He quickly replied no worries he’s sick. I again tried to pay for what they had already brought us, however he wouldn’t let me pay just told us to feel better and he knew we would be back ... Which we will Thanks to great service and such a compassionate staff !!
